Burlesque Photo Series with Sean Scheidt

Categories: News, Tags: , , , , ,

As part of the upcoming show and exhibition Workin’ the Tease: The Art of Baltimore Burlesque presented by the students of MICA’s Exhibition Design Seminar, the performers were invited to participate in photographer Sean Scheidt’s burlesque series documenting local burlesque performers in and out of costume. This is just one of the amazing photographs he took of me. I think it captures perfectly my persona as the Sweetheart of Dark. I had an absolutely fantastic time performing during the fundraiser for Workin’ the Tease: The Art of Baltimore Burlesque at Area 405 this past Saturday. The venue was total industrial coolness, the audience turnout was amazing, and I had a blast sharing the stage with some of my fellow Workin’ the Tease performers: Cherie Nuit, Tapitha Kix, Short Staxx, Sunny Sighed and Bal’d Lightning, and Hot and Bothered.
